Following Kai's graduation from BYU, our family traveled back home to Henderson, made a pit-stop to gather a few items and sleep for the night then headed back on the road early the next morning. We went to church in Ladera Ranch, CA for the blessing of cousin Baby Eli. We were glad to be there and are glad we live relatively close. Unfortunately, I relied on Hunter's picture-taking and didn't exactly get any with my own post-blessing when we were at their house. Except for these little gems of the girl cousins on my side (minus Brianna!)
Avery, Alana, and Lila were actually matching! Who knows what kind of trouble Alana will lead them into in the future?!
I'm sure the twins can find trouble on their own well enough.
The next morning we loaded up in the car and headed to the happiest place on earth...for some of us. :) Honestly, we had lots of reasons we chose to go this week: all of our kids were free (because they're under 3), we had family to go with us, Russell had time off (sorta...he ended up taking the NPTE in the middle of our trip!), and we were celebrating the end of PT school! Russell found it a little ironic that we were celebrating by going to a place which isn't too fun for him. Whatever. Anyway, I was excited to go and even had bought these little Minnie Mouse shirts for the twins before they were born in the "off chance" we'd go. I had fun making their little headbands, too.
Avery's all ready to experience D-land!
Lollygirl's ready, too!
We wore matching shirts (courtesy of Mor-mor and Far-far, who have provided matching shirts for decades now) and Soren and Ty were excited to ride in the stroller together! I had just gotten this stroller (for only $20, thank you yard sale!) and was glad we had it!
Doesn't this look fun?! 3 double strollers headed through the parking garage. This was A LOT to load onto the tram. Not to mention that every seat in the strollers was taken, so we had 6-stroller age kids! We sure didn't move too quickly.
I love that the girls will keep sunglasses on!
First ride of the trip! Taking the tram to the front gate. Nice pose, Soren.
Russell, you actually look mildly excited here!
Far-Far, Alana, and Uncle Hunter sat with some of the bulky strollers in front of us.
There you go--that was our Disneyland trip! Just kidding. SO very kidding. I'm just trying to break up my blog posts so that they seem easier to me. Part Dos coming...soon!
