Disneyland: Part 2!

Our Disneyland adventure begins!  On Monday, our first day there, we were lucky to have an even adult-to-kid ratio.  Right away, Alana, Soren, Ty, Russell and I headed to Toy Story Mania!  I really wasn't sure how Ty would do with the whole ride thing, so we started with this fun one and really talked it up...

Check out those stylin' shades!  With season passes, Alana and Soren were total pros leading Ty through the attractions.  Just to be sure, though, Ty held onto his map until he wore a hole in it!
Ty rode with his Daddy and hit TONS of targets (or not...) and had fun!
Then Mommy and Ty rode on King Triton's Carousel and Ty picked a blue dolphin to ride on.  :)
I tried to "prep" Ty as much as possible and made sure he watched movies that have rides/attractions related to them.  Luckily, he knew who Flik from A Bug's Life was and was happy to see him!
Later, the WHOLE family got to meet Sully from "Monsters Ank" (as Ty says it).
On our way back to the hotel to take naps, Lila fell asleep in the only non-shaded stroller, so we covered her up with the part of the stroller that rolls up.  She's under there...
Day 2!  This was the day that Russell took his big test (in the afternoon, so we let him study without our distractions all morning) and Ty, Far-far, the twins and I headed to the park!
Since we were there in the morning, Far-far and Ty got to see Mickey leading the marching band down main street.
In line for the Buzz Lightyear ride!  Ty was excited, but a little nervous and wanted to make sure it was okay to ride on.
Far-far took Ty on the teacups.  Apparently, Ty was real scared at the beginning and kept asking him to slow down the ride, but by the end he liked it...I guess!
 Lila and Far-far!
This was funny to me--Ty had just seen Sword in the Stone, so he knew you were supposed to be able to pull it out.  He started crying because "it wouldn't come out!" for him.  Because what this trip needed was Ty wielding a broadsword...
Back at the hotel and ready for bed (sorta), seems like these cousins have just as much fun crowding around one dinky phone as they do in an amusement park!
